Helpful Tips for Hampton Park Residents

• Be alert to suspicious activity & report it to the Chesterfield Police immediately.
• Call the Police non-emergency number 804-748-1251. If in doubt, call the Police! That’s what they recommend.
• Call the Police! Examples: teenagers running around after 11:00 pm country curfew, hearing gunshots any time of day, an unfamiliar car with male driver “lurking” around play areas, etc.
• Do your part to prevent Larceny from autos
• Keep informed about neighborhood activities & read the HP Digest & Park Commons newsletter.
• Secure your home and personal property. Follow recommendations from the National Neighborhood Watch website.
• Stop newspaper & mail delivery when you leave for your vacation or have a neighbor pick-up your mail & newspaper while you are away.
• Inform your neighbors if you plan to be away so we can pay special attention to your home.
• Leave your pole light and/or garage light on each night. Illuminated property reduces crime.
• Install motion detector type exterior lighting.
• Neighborhood Watch does not condone any vigilante actions.
